Naukuchia Tal is famous for its boating, padding and yachting it is situated 26kms from Nainital. This lake is very big in area, that’s why there is a provision for boating, padding and yachting.

Kainchi Dham is a pilgrimage centre and is located 17kms from Nainital at Nainital – Almora road. Due to two sharp hairpin roads its name is Kainchi Dham.

Mukteshwar is also a very good place to watch out for near Nainital. You can see the beautiful view of Himalayas from threre and also the second highest peak of India, Nanda Devi. It is situated in the Kumaon hills.

Ranikhet is one of the most beautiful hill stations in India is located 60kms from Nainital. In Hindi “Ranikhet” means “Field of Queen”. According to mythology this place has been chosen by “Rani Padmini” as her place for adobe, since then this place is known as “Ranikhet”.
